Fortix Mobile APP

What you will learn

Fortix is providing an APP that enables people to collect information and images from the field. Some clients use the APP to prepare quotes, have clients signed delivery dockets and access client information.

Whatever the case APP is using data from the main Fortix platform to display in forms and also sends the data back to Fortix.

On some occasions we have received reports of issues for people to use the APP. The below checklist will solve 99% of the issues related to the APP.

You can try one thing at the time to see if your issue was resolved.

Prerequisites

You will need to have a valid Fortix account with the permission enabling you to login to the APP. If you don’t have this, reach out to the Fortix service team to set this up for you.

Step-by-step instructions

1/ Try to restart your phone - this will close all active and open APPs and free memory for Fortix APP

2/ Try to sync data - Force Sync - this will refresh the data source - keep the APP open and active while doing it as some devices cut off services to the APPs if they are not active to save battery life.

3/ Try to Logout from the APP and login again then try step 2

4/ If all above does not work you can delete APP from your phone and reinstall the APP - this will install latest version of the Fortix APP - then login and sync data

This should resolve 99% of problems.
